Land of Dreams

In the Land of Dreams, anything is possible.

“Land of Dreams” is a series of images aiming to transport the viewer to a magical land of make believe. I set out to create this collection after my first visit to this incredible location & seeing the unique colors of the terrain and feeling like I was on another planet. I wanted the images to feel as unreal to the viewer as it felt to me.

I returned on 3 separate occasions, hiking solo up the steep cinder cone in the dark in order to have the appropriate light for what I needed. On each occasion I had the unique pleasure of complete solitude while I worked. With the unusual aesthetic & the lengths it took to capture & create it, this is truly my favorite body of work so far. The location is not disclosed because in the ‘Land of Dreams” the where is irrelevant.
